Women Create Peace

A Concert With a Message

Our Mission

To create entertainment that makes you think!

Our Job: We provide ideas. We don’t tell anyone what to think.

Your Job: Exercise your right to think for yourself. Know why you believe what you believe. Freedom requires it. Questioning and reassessing your values are the cornerstones of democracies and republics.

Our Philosophy

We envision women creating a safer, more understanding reality for the world by calling on all citizens to re-examine, question and dialog about our long-standing belief systems, which have historically led to the normalization of indifference, gross inequality, cruelty and domination.

By scrutinizing the philosophy behind the issues and then the issues themselves, we can better make the connection between our actions and our consequences, (“THE FOUR I’s”: Indifference, Inequality, Injustice, Inhumanity) as we posit potential resolutions to the cycle of violence we continue to endure on both a societal and personal level.

Safety and Security: Past and Present

Traditionally our answer has been to dominate. This exists on every level, personal, business and governance.

Self-righteousness is always the justification.

Moral Superiority (“I Know Better”) and Moral Outrage (“Helping”) may provide a temporary feeling of safety, but over time this type of behavior breeds anger and resentment that often leads to escalating violence and increasing volatility.

Will change arrive before it’s too late?

Our Concert

Common Ground The Concert is an exciting multimedia experience that is a fusion of animation and live performance. The show uses a call and response format to explore the consequences from existing worldviews and propose potential solutions for a safer, more secure planet. Six decades of iconic hits by legendary female vocalists address critical issues such as sexual harassment, child and domestic abuse, bullying, human trafficking, abortion, inequality, women’s rights, health care, addiction, gun violence, and animal and environmental abuses.

Although both women and men experience the issues expressed in this show, many of the feelings associated with these topics have long been considered “women’s issues” and were often overlooked or dismissed.

Through the nurturing and compassionate leadership of women who seek a fair and equal society, we can open the eyes and hearts of our fellow human beings to the possibility of creating a more loving world.

A Fusion of Animation and Live Performance

Enjoy the highest level of musical performance and carefully selected lyrics and original animation that give voice to critical issues of social significance.

Professionally trained vocalists re-create songs of beloved female singers we know and enjoy in the ongoing lexicon of the popular American songbook.

Riveting and Captivating

CGTC is a thought provoking, immersive experience that is not only both nostalgic and progressive but also compelling in the questions that it poses.

Can a divided world come together and save itself?
